Pride Group Logistics is a dynamic and rapidly growing transportation and logistics company. We are an asset-based company with a growing 3PL/Brokerage division.

This is a full-time position. **The location is to be set in Fort Erie Ontario.**

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the development of the required driver skills i.e.: Customs, Hazmat, Hours of Service, Policy, Regulations, Satellites, etc.
- Assisting your team with solutions regarding any driver concerns.
- Constructively collaborate with CSRs on updating customer-centric concerns.
- Enforce safety procedures amongst your team - Overseeing key reports around drivers, trucks, trailers, and other PGL assets riding on the road, ensuring the highest standards in equipment safety.
- Oversee costing impact by analyzing transportation planning opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
- Maintain monitoring of driver performance/miles and asset (Trailer) requirements.
- Maintain monitoring of how they respond to driver satellite messages.
- Maintaining amongst the team, communication standards with Operations, both internal as a team and outward when collaborating with all others outside.
- Maintaining fair and equitable distribution of work amongst your team.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance standards and provide coaching and counseling to associates
- Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and help with resolving action items.
- Oversee and collaborate with the team by analyzing transportation planning opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
- Take an active role in identifying weaknesses and strengths within the PGL network.
- Determine areas that could benefit from Continuous Improvement efforts.
- Conflict resolution - Dealing with difficult matters and being able to solve them quickly.
- Have a complete understanding of the company’s various pay packages for drivers and owner-operators.
- Actively participate in sourcing contract work for the Milton property. This would involve landscaping, waste management, tenant maintenance, and including winter maintenance.
- Front-line response to any or all matters concerning the Milton property.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 5 years in a Dispatch/Planning or Customer Service role required.
- Exceedingly knowledgeable of North American geography.
- Experience with CVOR, NSC, and Fitness scores.
- ACE and Customs/border crossing experience an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Ideal computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and Word).
- Able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple scenarios simultaneously
- Proven analytical, and problem-solving skills.
