**Job Description**:
This position will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Strategy and will be responsible for supporting full cycle recruitment for corporate stores in specified regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient recruitment process managing all applicants through Workday (ATS).
- Educate stakeholders on a variety of aspects related to recruiting such as talent demand and availability, recruitment costs, salary expectations, industry standards, pipeline trends based on skills, sourcing methodology and other key points.
- Collaborate with our Employer Branding Team to develop and share region-specific marketing including Pet Valu’s Employee Value Proposition via social media and other channels.
- Initiate and execute in-person regional hiring events including recruitment initiatives, job fairs, community events, hiring days at stores and on campuses as required.
- Establish and own partnerships with local colleges, universities, community programs to build a pipeline for future hiring needs and manage career events
- Attend industry-specific events to stay current on applicable industry trends relating to recruitment such as sourcing methods, DE&I, disability accommodation for interviewing, and employment legislation.
**Qualifications**:
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Business or equivalent discipline OR appropriate combination of experience and education
- 2-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth retail environment
- Strong screening and interviewing skills with a customer service focus and the ability to customize interview questions to the role and hiring managers' needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the agility to flex to changing business demands
- Retail management experience including selection and onboarding of associates.
- Proven track record of achieving hiring goals and forming positive relationships.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders and work in a collaborative and consultative manner.
- Previous experience using Applicant Track systems; Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searching techniques and other technology that leverages social media and internet sourcing
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time
- Demonstrated ability to use recruitment related metrics and identify ways to improve them (e.g. time to fill).
- Critical thinking, good judgment and the ability to recognize communication needs and opportunities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
