**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Install roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, tiles, metal, or membranes.
- Perform repairs on existing roofs to ensure they are watertight and structurally sound.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications for roofing projects.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively for roofing tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary maintenance.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during installation or repair tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment related to roofing tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights.
- Basic carpentry skills are preferred but not mandatory.
- A maintenance person background is a plus, showcasing versatility in construction tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety practices while working on job sites.
