Food & Beverage Attendant

We are presently searching for our next talented team member as a Restaurant Server to join our Food & Beverage team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)**

**1. Customer Service**:

- Greet and guide customers to their tables promptly
- Take and prepare food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Respond to menu and dietary questions with knowledge and care
- Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting guests with their needs and addressing concerns quickly

**2. Preparation and Stock Management**:

- Prepare food, drinks, and cocktails as required, including promoting specials and upselling items
- Monitor and replenish stock levels, informing the supervisor of frequently requested but unavailable items
- Conduct daily inventory checks and ensure balanced floats at the end of each shift

**3. Cleaning and Sanitizing**:

- Clean and sanitize eating, service, and bar areas according to health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all working areas, including banquets

**4. **Banquet Duties**:

- Assist in setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests

**5.** **Flexibility**:

- Willingness and ability to work in various areas of Manning Park Resort's Food & Beverage operations, including Pinewoods, Bears Den, Snack Window, and Banquets
- Adapt to different roles and responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the resort and its guests.

**Job Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Possess or is willing to acquire Serving It Right certification.
- Outgoing personality.
- Knowledge of up-coming trends in the industry & food knowledge
- Some knowledge of working with POS systems
- Well organized approach to problem solving
- 1 year of serving or customer service experience.
- Experience serving alcohol.
- To meet seasonal demands, you may be required to assist in other departments as needed
