Dining Room Supervisor

Our Dining Room Team is instrumental in our success by helping to create special and lasting memories for our Guests.
In overseeing our Dining Room Team, you will enjoy working in a fast paced, Team oriented environment. Your passion for Guest service and flawless attention to detail will combine to produce a seamless event with personalized attention.
**Please note this position requires full-time open availability including evening & weekends**
**What you'll be doing**:
- Carry out standards and procedures
- Monitor staff arrival & departure
- Assist servers during peak hours
- Supervise D.R. setup
- Responsible for group billing
- All opening and closing duties
- Ability to resolve guest and team member complaints
- Extensive Food and Wine Knowledge
- To ensure all opening and closing procedures are carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services.
- To ensure all equipment in the department is correctly used, maintained and properly stored and is always kept clean, that inventory preparation is carried out and ensuring department is running efficiently.
- To be responsible for any monetary transactions during shift.
**Secondary Responsibilities**:
- Inspection of Dining Room
- Knowledge of daily specials
- Monitor stock on daily bases
- Assist with inventory control
**What you'll bring to the team**:
- Hotel and Restaurant Manager Course
- Communication skills written and oral
- Computer and monitory skills
- Able to recognize and respect customer and team member confidentiality
- Smart serve certificate

Pay: $19.32-$20.34 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
