Victoria, Canada Rising Tide Construction Full time

We are currently seeking an experienced excavator operator to join our team for residential site servicing projects in Victoria, BC. As an excavator operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, majority of the time on excavators, with some work on skid steers, backhoe, etc, to prepare residential sites for construction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, backhoes, and bulldozers, to excavate and grade residential sites.
- Ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely, following all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to accurately complete excavation and grading tasks.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and repairs, as necessary.
- Work closely with other team members, such as site supervisors and construction workers, to complete projects on time and within budget.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an excavator operator in residential site servicing, or in industrial
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
- Strong knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
