JOB SCOPE

As a pilot flying for Pivot Airlines, the CRJ Captain is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft while providing customer service and giving on-time performance due consideration. The CRJ Captain supervises other crew members and has primary responsibility for the flight. The CRJ Captain reports to the System Chief Pilot.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Company aircraft;
- Ensure all pre-flight, inflight and post-flight duties are completed safely consistent with published Transport Canada regulations and standards as well as Company policies and procedures;
- Ensure that all crew members perform their flight duties consistent with published Transport Canada regulations and standards as well as Company policies and procedures; and
- Any other responsibilities and duties assigned by the System Chief Pilot

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 4000 Hours Total Time;
- 500 hours jet time;
- Must hold Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL);
- Must hold Transport Canada Category I Medical Certificate;
- Able to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance;
- Legally entitled to work in Canada;
- Able to operate Company aircraft domestically, trans-border and internationally without restriction (supporting documents required);
- Aviation diploma/degree an asset;
- Must be fluent in English language;
- Effective communication and problem solving skills;
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills;
- Flexible and willing to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends;
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling;
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
