**IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY**
We are a well-regarded local sushi establishment seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our kitchen team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure the kitchen and preparation stations are properly stocked and maintained
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces
- Support unloading and organizing food deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchenware, utensils, and workstations
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
- Cook menu items under the guidance of the Sushi Chef
- Execute tasks as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Demonstrated experience as a Line Cook or Kitchen Helper
- Familiarity with sushi preparation and Japanese culinary practices is highly desirable
- Thorough understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team-oriented setting
- Possession of Food Handler Training and Smart Choices Responsible Service Certificate is an asset
**Anticipated Start Date**: As soon as possible
