**For Grades K-3 | July 07 - 25, 2025**

The Summer Learning Program at the Tla’amin Nation is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer
Learning Teachers for the K-3 program, running from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, July 07 - 25, 2025, with
additional dates (July 2-3) allocated for professional learning and preparation.

The agreed-upon pay rate for Summer Learning Teachers in 2025 is $55.00 per hour.

We are looking for teachers who:

- Prioritize “First People’s Principles of Learning” in teaching practices
- Have experience or interest in early mathematic and literacy instruction, including phonemic
- awareness and phonics.
- Are committed to delivering engaging, student-centered learning experiences using play-based
- learning methods.
- Can effectively support a variety of learners through mini-lessons, conferencing, and small group
- instruction.
- Are collaborative team players, eager to contribute to a supportive teaching environment that
- coordinates with Tla’amin Recreation programming.
- Can commit to the full three-week program to foster strong relationships and ensure consistency

for students.
