**INDUSTRIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN - Air Compressor**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Installations and start-ups for Air Compressors
- Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance on all makes of compressed air equipment, engines, and power generation with minimum supervision
- Performing periodic maintenance and testing on customer equipment
- Meeting with key stakeholders on projects
- Working with customers directly on site
- Primarily on-site visits, but also in-shop repairs
- Parts and service recommendations
- Over-the-phone troubleshooting
- Providing excellent customer service and support to all customers
- Maintaining a clean & safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Occasional out of town work may occur

**Beneficial Skills and Requirements**:

- General understanding of diesel engine, compressed air systems, and generator technology
- Sound electrical and mechanical aptitude to perform failure analysis, troubleshooting, and repairs of all types of engines, power generators and related equipment
- Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, and specifications for assorted types of mechanical and electrical equipment, including manufacturer’s manuals and parts books
- Proficient with estimating time required to complete tasks
- Previous experience with compressed air equipment or heavy-duty mechanics is considered an asset
- Willing to work independently, but also having the capability to work well in a team-based environment
- Exceptional communication skills to work within our team and communicate directly with customers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and complete jobs unsupervised
- Willing to cross train in other areas
- Able to work in adverse working conditions requiring physical dexterity
- Ability to support 24-hour emergency service for our clients (flexible on-call rotating schedule)
- Committed to promoting and supporting a safe work environment
- Must have a valid drivers license and provide a drivers abstract
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing
- Must have no criminal record

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
