Integration Aide

- **We are currently looking for a) an afternoon position in Outremont, 4 afternoons per week from 12:15-4 and b) full-time position in Westmount (8-4). Being bilingual and having a car are both assets. **_

We are looking for integration aides to work around 4 hours per day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).

**What the position entails**:

- Integrating children into mainstream classroom settings
- Working one-to-one and in small groups with children
- Monitoring each child’s progress
- Communicating with parents on an ongoing basis
- Working in the school Safety protocols and hygiene measures will be implemented in all settings

**The individual we are looking for has**:

- Previous experience working with children with special needs and challenging behaviour
- Enjoys working with children and has lots of energy and patience
- Completed or working towards one of the following degrees/certification: Early Childhood Education or Special Care Counselling Diploma or Degree, degree in Psychology, Education or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with parents/guardians
- An ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Eager to learn and accept feedback for continuous improvement

Other Job Requirements:

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Is organized and takes initiative
- Has the flexibility to work regular business hours, some evenings and weekends
- Valid police records check and First Aid/CPR certificate
- Has a valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle to travel to clients’ homes and willing to travel within the Greater Montreal area is required.
