**Able to Supervise the landing gear department and team**

**Possess good organizational and decision-making skills to complete and assign work and computerized tasks**

**Able to track component times and life cycles on landing gears**

**Read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletin, Technical Specification, Drawings, Company Maintenance and Policy Manuals**

**Perform maintenance task, repair/overhaul of Landing Gear and related components**

**Measure parts wear by using precision instruments**

**Record all maintenance tasks carried out on work order packages.**

**Report progress and status of projects in the shop in a timely matter**

**Ability to function as part of high-performance team**

**Positive, Responsible, and Self Motivated, with problem solving skills**

**Transport Canada regulations require applicant to have good English language skills in reading and writing**

**Attention to detail**

**Other tasks and duties as assigned**

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
7-10 years aircraft landing gear repair/overhaul experience or equivalent

Minimum 4-5 years experience in a supervisory role in landing gear repair and overhaul

Possess in-depth knowledge of the day-to-day functions of a TC Approved AMO & CARs 571 maintenance requirements as it pertains the repair and overhaul of Main landing Gear & related components.

Minimum 3-5 years TC SCA approval.

Minimum 5-7 years experience in tracking SB, AD’s, component times and life cycles on landing gears

Dash 8 100,200,300 and Q400 landing gear knowledge and experience preferred

Working knowledge of Component Control MRO software Quantum would be an asset

**Salary**: $32.00-$35.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Aircraft Maintenance: 7 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- AME (preferred)
