Fencing Installation Crew Chief

**Position: Fence Installation Crew Leader**

**Key Details**:

- Yearly winter lay-off period is in effect, with the typical working season from April to December. There may be opportunities to have off-season work in our current fabrication facility in Rockwood; and/or our newly constructed fabrication plant in Fergus.
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
- Job sites are generally within 1 hour of home base, but at times longer travel may be required for certain projects and with periodic jobs requiring overnight stays when taking care of our clients further away from base.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the safety and well-being of yourself and your team members at all times.
- Possessing a clean driving record (A license preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Demonstrating a keen eye for straight lines and precise slopes.
- Proficiency with chainsaws and power equipment.
- Skid steer and construction experience is considered an asset.
- Willingness to take direction; learn new skills and processes; and contribute to opportunities for your team and self to reach new heights in skills and execution of client solutions.

**Job Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience in fencing, landscaping, or a construction-related field.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project assignments.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites or your “home base” yard.

**Physical Job Requirements**:

- Capability to lift heavy objects, weighing 30-50 pounds or more, consistently
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
