Description of Duties:

- Having the demonstrated ability to represent Triple M painting to customers in a positive and safe manner is an absolute requirement for the position as well as having a demonstrated conscientiousness and dependability to produce results is required.
- Establishing site assessment, preparation and set up (i.e. The positioning of required equipment such as ladders, required coverings and scaffolding to ensure that the painting job can be done safely.
- Dealing with clients and customers in positive manner while on job site.
- Following all safety rules and regulations as set by both company and regulatory standards.
- Reading plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities;
- Cleaning and preparing sites to eliminate possible hazards and preparation for painting or re-painting.
- Area preparation of the designated interior or exterior surfaces for painting/ staining including filling cracks, holes, seams and overall preparation / cleaning that will assure good product adhesion and finished product.
- Having an eye for detail during the painting process including not only the labor involved but determining best color matches during the job.
- Detailed clean up on completion of the job restoring the site to pre
- paint cleanliness condition.
- The cleaning and care of equipment during both the actual painting operation and post job activities that includes dis
- assembling following completion of the job.
- Loading, unloading, or identifying building materials, machinery, or tools, required according to project plans or specifications in order to both complete the job as well as during post job activity. This includes the safe mixing and storage of paint and painting supplies.
- Having the ability to work unsupervised as an experienced painter and also provide direction to less experienced personnel and the ability too report on progress of the job to management is a definite asset.

**Qualifications and requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- DEMONSTRATED experience as a painter in commercial and residential experience is required.
- Strong knowledge/ aptitude of the painting industry is required in order to be successful..
- Demonstrated examples of positive customer service
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds during the work day” moving, bending, stretching”; including the ability for climbing stairs and working at heights, working in both in door and outdoor setting.
- Demonstrated eye for detail.
- Customer service focused, outgoing personality with the ability to take direction as required; work in an unsupervised setting.
- Reliable daily transportation required to travel to the work site.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bonafide job requirement for the ability to work weekends as required in order accomplishing company commitments to customers.
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Hire is also dependent upon providing a police clearance report ( criminal record check) satisfactory to Triple M painting.

**Lines of communication**

This position will report direct to the owner of the company.

**Working conditions**
- Full time position. Working weekends as required to meet customer requirements.
- Both indoor and outdoor work setting. Unsupervised environment.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis, work at heights, and physical environment of “moving, bending, stretching while painting.

**Preferred Training**
- Fall arrest training.
- Lifting platforms training.
- Ladder
