We have approximately 60 full-time employees with the majority being 10+ years with the company. Located in Langford, so you can avoid a long commute.

The Maintenance and repair worker performs a variety of simple and/or routine maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the Warehouse Operations Manager.

This person should be able to perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance and be skilled in the use of hand and power tools, be able to read instructions, and be able to communicate in a clear concise and professional manner.

Position reports directly to the warehouse operations manager and approximately 8-12 hours a week and is flexible in terms of day of the week. Great for someone who is handy and retired or just looking for a day or two a week.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure Front Entrance is clean and tidy
- Snow removal and salting as needed at front doors
- Maintain janitorial and maintenance area in a clean, organized, and safe manner
- Restocks janitorial supplies and restocks supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Minor repair to walls and painting as needed
- Ensure lights bulbs are replaced as needed throughout the building
- Minor installations of shelves, hooks, pictures etc. as needed
- Purchase products for repairs as needed
- Minor repairs as required to heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems and contacts trades as required
- Other misc. repair tasks as required
- Coordinated annual clean out of warehouse and office items to disposal company or donations
- Availability on occasional weekend for warehouse clean up
- Building furniture and equipment as needed
- Provide regular updates to the Warehouse operations on the progress of items on the worklist

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- Physical ability to do occasional heavy lifting, bending, twisting and repetition
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work effectively without supervision
- Highly motivated and reliable
- Handy and qualified to utilized hand tools, power equipment and skilled at repairs and odd jobs

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
