**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. Your expertise in dental office procedures and familiarity with electronic dental records will be essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

**Duties**
- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental records systems
- Knowledge of dental softwares such as Dentrix
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Process patient billing and insurance claims efficiently while explaining charges to patients.
- Ensure that the front desk area is organized and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is essential.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records management; experience with Dentrix is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
