Job description

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides excellent guest service to all guests
- Greets, checks in, and settles all guest accounts
- Helps guests with any inquiries, and provides assistance where necessary in a professional manner
- Answers all incoming phone calls and takes reservations
- Accurately follows cash handling procedures
- Adheres to all department and Company's policies and procedures
- Ensures guests' security by the proper handling of guest room keys and personal information
- Performs any other job related duties as assigned
- At least one year Hotel Front Office/Night Audit experience is a must for this position
- Experience with the Opera PMS is a definite asset
- High School or University/College Diploma is preferred
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Passion for customer service, enthusiastic, detail oriented, computer literate, fast learner
- Excellent communications skills
- Works well under pressure in a changing environment
- Fluency in English, written and verbal; a second language is an asset
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to stand for an 8 hour shift
- Flexibility in shifts: mornings, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays
- Valid Canadian work permit and SIN is required
