**Dishwasher**

**Reports To**: Kitchen Manager

**Position Summary**:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment and utensils. They will maintain the cleanliness of all dishes, equipment, and utensils used in the kitchen. The Dishwasher will also be responsible for washing and cleaning all dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. They will also be responsible for maintaining proper storage of kitchen equipment and utensils. This position will report to the Kitchen Manager.

**Essential Functions**:

- Cleaning of all kitchen equipment and utensils
- Maintains kitchen environment in a clean and orderly manner by following established procedures for kitchen functions.
- Cleans all dishes, pots and pans, cookware, cookware surfaces, silverware, equipment surfaces, refrigerators, refrigerator doors, cabinets, counters, appliances and refrigerator doors; cleans floors in all areas of the kitchen. Mops, polishes or wipes any hard-surfaced areas. Places dishes in designated designated area. Loads dishwasher. Ensures dishwasher is running when loaded. Keeps dishwasher running at all times to maintain cleanliness of dish area. Keeps kitchen area neat and clean by following cleaning procedures as outlined in kitchen use policies and procedures manual at all times. Mops as needed to maintain cleanliness of kitchen area. Washes at designated areas as needed to maintain cleanliness of dish area; cleans doors; cleans inside doors; puts away dishes; cleans outside doorways; keeps work space clean by following procedures for sanitizing work space at all times. Cleans work space by following cleaning procedures as outlined in use policies and procedures manual at all times.

- You **might** have experience in the service / hospitality industry. Previous back of house experience would be nice but isn’t required. We will consider the right person, with the right attitude who can back-up their abilities through previous work, or involvement in teams (school, work or sports)

- Must be able to read and write English with basic understanding of oral communication skills required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
