**Position Overview**

A **Room Attendant** will be responsible for cleaning Guest rooms and responding to Guest requests in the hotel and continuing effort to deliver outstanding Guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Clean Guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and Guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special Guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Perform Guest turn down service, as needed

**Experience**

Previous experience working as a Room Attendant is an asset, not a requirement

**Skills**

Strong attention to detail and time management

Ability to work well as a Team or an independent

Solid communication skills

**Requirements**:
**Must be available to work a variety of all shifts (Weekdays, Weekends, Long Weekends, Holidays) and have open availability.**

Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.

**Physical Demands**

Stands and walks moderate to long distances throughout shift.

Frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 23 kilograms and push up to 23 kilograms over moderate to long distances using a cart.

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting and stretching is required to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks.

Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
