We are hiring for a Protective Services Guard for our locations in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, BC.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.- Observing, meeting and greeting customers.- Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.- Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.- Conducting security audits of the building and assets.- Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.- Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.
You have:
- A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.- A valid driver’s licence in the province in which you reside.- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.- Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.- Demonstrated ability to work well with mínimal supervision.- Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.- A valid Occupational First Aid and/or CPR certification (considered an asset).- Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).- Open availability (considered an asset).

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
