**What You Will Do**:
As the main point of contact for The Walper Hotel’s guests, you’ll be responsible for managing pre-arrival, arrival, and departure tasks, as well as assisting in resolving guest concerns. You’ll provide guests with a professional, superior guest service, and enlighten them on the benefits of the World of Hyatt. As representatives of a Hyatt _Joie de Vivre_ property, you’ll coordinate with colleagues across departments in the hotel to provide a seamless experience of quality service, and help guests discover experiences that will allow them to leave a little more like a local.

At all times during the term of their employment, you will provide your best effort and skills to perform the duties and tasks as outlined herein professionally, representing and projecting The Walper Hotel in the highest regard. As a part of the hospitality business, you will be expected to provide a friendly, welcoming attitude and a high level of customer service to guests and fellow colleagues.
- Act as the frontline for The Walper Hotel and the JDV by Hyatt Brand
- Provide friendly, courteous, and personalized service to guests
- Acknowledge that customer service is the most important differentiator, and understand the significance of the role in creating loyal and happy customers
- Maintain an energetic, relationship-focused atmosphere
- Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel features and facilities by answering questions and providing information
- Confirm details of the room, stay dates, and room requests
- Create, cancel, and change reservations ensuring that information is accurate and complete
- Ensure accuracy when entering information into the PMS system
- Investigate and resolve guest issues, including communicating details to other colleagues
- Ensure guests are satisfied with their stay
- Clerical tasks including filing, organizing, and compiling guest history
- Maintain confidentiality of guests including but not limited to names, addresses, room numbers, and payment details
- Be familiar with emergency procedures in order to ensure the safety of guests, colleagues, and self
- Other duties as assigned or required

**Job Requirements**:

- A natural passion for engaging with people
- Prior experience in a hospitality setting
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills

**Working Conditions**:

- Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Response to last-minute changes in business volume, including increased business demand

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour
