**PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN**

This is a perfect opportunity for someone already licensed and working as a pest control technician and is looking for a change of scenery or more opportunities and responsibilities. Although experience is beenficial, we can train and the most important things are attitude, aptitude, and attendance.

Our professionals prevent and manage pests in all categories of business - from residential to commercial to manufacturing, and industrial sites.

**Description**:
We have an opening for a **full-time permanent**Service and Sales Technician servicing the **Edmonton area.**Pest control is an essential service and has proven to be recession resistant and even trhive in a pandemic. So if job security is important, this is a great place to land.

Duties will include:

- Inspect buildings and outside areas at regular intervals
- Determine type of treatment required and provide estimate of cost to clients
- Coach and counsel clients to prevent pest infestation
- Inspect premises to identify infestation source, extent of damage, and access to infested locations
- Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation
- Route growth through sales
- Perform other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Valid provincial pesticide applicator license preferred. Can be obtained once hired.
- Valid driver’s license / clean driving record
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
- Will have to undergo a criminal background check; sign a non-compete agreement; participate in testing as part of the interview process
- Ability to manage and work as part of a team
- Sales experience an asset
- pesticide applicators licence an asset
