We are looking to hire a mature and professional part-time dog walker/pet sitter to join our team. **Job Description for Dog Walkers**

This is a great opportunity if you love to work with animals and to have flexibility in your schedule. As a dog walker/pet sitter, you will be paid to take dogs on private on-leash walks (1-3 dogs from the same household for 30 minutes), take socialized dogs to a local off-leash dog park (1- 3 dogs from different households for 1 hour), and provide drop-in visits for puppies, cats and other small critters while pet parents are at work or away on holidays or work trips. Dog walkers/pet sitters are able to get creative with their inner photographer, providing fun photos and walk/visit reports to pet parents via our convenient and easy-to-use app.

The Mon-Fri hours you will need to be available are between the hours of 10:00AM-2:00PM, with more daytime availability certainly being an asset. **We occasionally get early morning, late afternoon, late evening, weekend and stat holiday requests (including Thanksgiving and Christmas day), and although not absolutely required, your availability to occasionally help with these jobs when they arise would be an attractive asset.**

**Job Requirements**

We are looking for a team member who is ready to commit for the long term (1+ year)

You must:

- LOVE animals and have pet care experience, either personally or professionally
- Be 18+ years old
- Have your own vehicle and a clean driving record
- Be willing to transport dogs in your vehicle
- Be able to drive and work outside in inclement weather (rain, snow, wind, heat, cold)
- Be located in our area of service (Sherwood Park) or within a close surrounding community with a 20 minute or less commute
- Have a clean criminal record/be bondable
- Have a cellphone with a data plan
- Be reliable, organized, punctual, driven, & able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Provide references
- Be comfortable and confident with all dog sizes and breeds
