Unity Composite High School (Grades 7-12) is seeking a Graduation Coach to work full-time beginning January 27 until June 30, 2025.
Unity Composite High School is seeking an innovative and student-focused Graduation Coach to support learners in achieving their academic goals. This role involves working closely with individual students or small groups who require independent programming and self-paced learning to support credit attainment and personal success. The Graduation Coach will also oversee and provide guidance for students enrolled in distance education courses.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement individualized programming plans for students requiring self-paced or independent learning pathways.
Provide direct instruction and guidance to students in small groups or one-on-one settings, using tailored resources and teaching strategies.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, administration, and support staff to ensure alignment with school-wide goals and curriculum outcomes.
Support students in setting academic goals, monitoring progress, and developing self-management skills.
Supervise and assist students enrolled in distance education classes, ensuring they have access to the necessary tools, resources, and support to succeed.
Track and report student progress, adapting instructional approaches as needed to address challenges and celebrate achievements.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to take ownership of their educational journey.
Maintain regular communication with families, guardians, and external agencies as needed to support student success.

**Qualifications**:
Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate.
Experience or interest in working with diverse learners, including those requiring alternative or independent programming.
Strong skills in planning, organization, and adapting instruction to meet individual needs.
Familiarity with distance education platforms and self-paced learning resources is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
