Cashier Supervisor

Position to start May 26th

Minimum of one (1) year experience working as a food service assistant in an industrial and/or commercial kitchen.

Minimum of three (3) months experience in supervising personnel

Minimum of three (3) months experience as a cashier or cashier supervisor

Supervising a team of 5-12 employees in front of house cafeteria.

Solid knowledge of food preparation and handling principles, processes, procedures, policies, directives, and guidelines.

Good knowledge of customer service skills.

A strong knowledge of equipment and materials to use/operate used in the food preparation area such as ovens, food processors, slicers, grills, warming plates, deep fryers, grinders.

Solid knowledge of food services principles, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines.

Good knowledge of related legislation, pertinent to health and safety, employment standards act, and food safety act.

Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring everyone works together efficiently.

Customer Service: Solid knowledge of customer service by providing a positive dining experience for guests, handling complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Organization: Managing schedules, setting up and organizing breakfast and lunch service with hot line, deli bar, salad bar, ensuring the service and dining area is well-maintained, following check lists.

Communication: Clear and effective communication with staff, customers and client.

Problem-Solving: Quickly addressing and resolving issues that arise during service.

Multitasking: Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, such as overseeing staff, managing rotating priorities and attending to customer needs.

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
