Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario is looking for a dynamic Event and Marketing Specialist to lead the charge on community events, corporate engagement, and brand visibility. If you’re creative, organized, and passionate about bringing people together to make a difference—this is your opportunity to shine.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Event Planning & Team Engagement**_
- Lead and deliver impactful Team Days for corporate volunteers, ensuring a meaningful experience that drives repeat support
- Perform outreach and recruit corporate sponsors for Team Days
- Coordinate and support Habitat-led events as well as third-party fundraising initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth logistics, setup, and promotion of events
- **Marketing & Communications**_
- Design and execute marketing campaigns that build awareness, grow support, and drive engagement
- Create compelling visuals and branded content using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Manage and grow our presence across social media channels with fresh, mission-aligned content
- Maintain and update our website and blog with timely and relevant stories and information
- Use SEO best practices and digital advertising to expand reach and impact

**About You**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, event planning, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, event coordination, or related role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- A collaborative, can-do attitude with strong community engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and stay cool under pressure
- Meticulous attention to detail and high professional standard
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
