**Job Summary**

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**

Include but are not limited to:

- Bookkeeping functions such as posting expenses and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, month and year end reporting.
- Prepare and file customized reporting as necessary.
- Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns.
- Complete monthly payroll and related compliance requirements.
- Prepare written documentation of tasks, instructions, processes and meetings
- Provide client training in various software’s and processes
- Meet with Clients to review and analyze their financials
- Promoting a strong culture of team work as well as promoting OPTY’s work Culture.

We currently have an opportunity for a Full-Time or Part-Time to join our OPTY team. Reporting to the President, the Bookkeeper is involved in a full range of duties including providing outsourced accounting operations for many clients simultaneously.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

**Knowledge & Skills Required**

Include but are not limited to:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
- QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with bookkeeping.
- Ability to resolve accounting/reconciliation issues, prioritize tasks, set goals, and delegate.
- Strong proficiency with Windows Computers, Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well organized with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent decision-making and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/duties simultaneously.
- Proficiency with; DropBox, Google Drive, Teamwork Projects, Receipt Bank, Hub Doc, Expensify, Telpay, Ceridian, Xero is beneficial.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
