**Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
