**Job Overview**

As well as lighting sales, you will be working with window coverings, home decor, Sansin stains and cottage paint. Helping customer assess their needs and offer the same services as if they were looking for lighting.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct consultations with clients to assess their lighting needs and preferences.
- Develop customized lighting plans that align with client specifications and budget.
- Recommend suitable lighting products, including fixtures, bulbs, and controls.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of lighting solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in lighting technology and design.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on product usage and maintenance.
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals and sales orders for clients
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Take deposits and handle cash
- Showroom merchandising and display organization
- Maintain warehouse inventory and organization
- Receive and unload deliveries
- Tuesday to Saturday workweek with Sundays and Mondays off

**Experience**
- Proven experience in lighting design or consulting, preferable
- Experience with window coverings is ideal
- Knowledge of paint and stain is preferable
- Strong understanding of lighting technologies, including LED, smart lighting systems, and energy-efficient solutions preferable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to clients.
- English proficiency is mandatory
- Proficiency in basic website navigation and social media is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail is essential.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- Day shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parry Sound, ON P2A 2G5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- related: 1 year (preferred)
