Far too many homeowners are embarrassed about the state of their home. Their kitchen cabinets are dated; their millwork looks lived in. Even though they are located in beautiful Muskoka, they are hesitant to invite friends and family over.
We create homes that our clients can feel proud of. For over 40 years, McKee Cabinetree has been creating high-quality spaces that reflect every family’s unique lifestyle. Our specialties are custom kitchens, custom cabinets, and custom woodworking.
Position Details:
We’re looking for a full-time Cabinet Maker, Finisher + Installer to join our team. The chosen individual will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery, assembling cabinets according to specifications, finishing the cabinets, and installing them at the client site.
Hours:
- 7:30AM to 4PM Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
Compensation
- $20 - $30 per hour, depending on prior experience
A Day on The Job:
- Assess different job requirements + timelines and organize workdays/weeks to ensure deadlines are met
- Receive, dress, and process incoming raw materials
- Operate specialized pieces of woodworking machinery associated with cabinet making and custom woodworking, creating products that strictly adhere to the blueprint
- Assemble cabinets together with a high degree of precision
- Install required hardware, including hinges, lock units, drawer slides, and pulls
- Efficiently and properly install the finished product/s at the client site, providing a great customer experience along the way
Position Requirements
- Previous experience using machinery/tools + working in the field of woodworking
- Access to a reliable vehicle

Working Conditions:
- You will be responsible for lifting heavy materials (such as wood + assembled cabinetry)
- You will be responsible for operating heavy machinery
- Some travel will be required when installing cabinetry at the client site
