Warehouse Lead

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team on a _**temporary basis**_. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory, and leading a team of warehouse associates. This is a key role in maintaining the smooth flow of operations and meeting customer satisfaction.
- The position requires travel between 2 warehouses and having a vehicle is a must.
- The warehouses are located in Brampton and Mississauga.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products
- Ensure accuracy in inventory management through regular cycle counts and audits
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory levels and movements
- Operate various equipment such as reach trucks, counterbalance, order pickers
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff
**Experience**:
- **Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role is required**:
- Proficiency in operating reach trucks, **counterbalance**, order pickers.
- Strong knowledge of **warehouse distribution processes and procedures**:
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Ability to **lead and motivate** **a team** to achieve **productivity goals**:
- Excellent organizational and **problem-solving skills**:
- **Attention to detail** and **accuracy **in inventory management
- **Strong communication skills **to effectively interact with team members and other departments
- **Must have access to own vehicle**

**Salary**: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
