Wellsite Technician

Apex is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service and support to the energy industry. As the largest privately owned wellsite accommodations provider in Western Canada, we are currently looking to fill a **Wellsite Technician **at our Fort St. John branch.

- Is mechanically inclined mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Wiliness to train, learn and acquire new skills
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, satellites, electronics and or HVAC is a definite asset.
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Servicing and maintaining wellsite units with a high standard of quality and safety
- Troubleshooting and performing a variety of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
- Shipping of wellsite trailers in a ready to work condition
- Receiving wellsite trailers from the field into the yard
- Communicating any damage to dispatch
- Providing pertinent information to the dispatch team
- Draining wellsite's and ensuring cleanliness satisfactory
- Assisting with maintaining the proper parts inventory (via: maintenance sheets, work orders, P.O.#’s, inventory sheets)
- Responsible for appropriate truck maintenance and maintaining sufficient inventory in truck.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- Restoration: 2 years (preferred)
- Oilfield Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Millwright: 2 years (preferred)
