The** Shop Automation Technician**is responsible for technical knowledge of equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, testing, calibration for assigned product or process. On-call or provides technical support to assigned customers.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
- Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service.
- Knowledge of pneumatic, electric, and control systems
- Install, set-up, and commission AOV’s.
- Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services.
- Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies.
- Evaluates performance and reliability of materials.
- Diagnoses and reports malfunctions.
- Learn and understand particular technical equipment; attend training and completes certification as required.

A must
- HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
- Generally, 2 - 5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
- 2-year technical degree preferred
