**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Accurately pack products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers for loading and unloading materials.
- Perform order picking tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that packing materials are readily available.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and order statuses.
- Assist in training new employees on packing procedures and equipment operation as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance in packing operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace at all times.
