Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a highly motivated, results driven Project Coordinator to join the Teledyne FLIR PMO team in Richmond.
This role is for someone who is a team player, analytical, detail-oriented, curious to learn, and passionate about collaborating with cross functional teams across the business.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the transition of projects as they move into the operational phase.
- Collaborate with project managers, functional team leaders and product managers to identify, plan and execute project activities.
- Collaborate with Customers, Supply Chain and Sales Administration, to ensure seamless operations of products that are released for mass production.
- Contribute to improvement of operational processes with a focus on Lean principles.
- Coordinate and run cross-functional meetings and efficiently communicate with all stakeholders.
- Initiate, monitor, and report on projects’ plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Align activities with corporate goals around safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Conduct root cause analysis on gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate progress/status updates internally and externally, and support creation of related operational documentation and reports.
- Work with the PMO to continuously improve our methodology, processes, and practices.
Job Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or similar.
- 1-3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator role.
- Experience with coordinating operational tasks and timely progress reporting.
- Experience conducting and guiding team meetings to manage the schedule, identify and mitigate risks and review project deliverables.
- Comfortable with frequent changes or unpredictability.
- Must possess strong written and verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
- Effective time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multi-cultural and global project teams.
- Ability to understand and capture both technical and business requirements.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with ISO requirements and certification.
- Experience with Atlassian tools.
- Experience with SAP
