**About the Role**:
The BI & Customer Analytics Manager will play a critical role in leading and supporting the business intelligence and customer analytics function within the company. This position will be responsible for overseeing the analysis of customer data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business strategies and improve customer engagement.

Data Analysis, Reporting & Enablement
- Oversee the analysis of customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build executive dashboards that integrate multiple data sources, track KPIs, and deliver actionable insights.
- Foster a data-driven decision-making environment by equipping teams with the tools, knowledge, and accessible analytics needed to empower informed choices at all levels
- Champion the advancement of a performance-driven culture, leveraging data enablement to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and the achievement of organizational objectives
Customer Analytics
- Analyze customer data and establish models to uncover and anticipate emerging themes and trends
- Deploy advanced analytics to assess root causes and key relationships, recommending solutions to improve customer journeys.
Business Intelligence & Benchmarking
- Work jointly to identify, define, and operationalize key business metrics that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
- Establish a robust benchmarking practice to regularly compare internal performance metrics with industry standards, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of best practices
- Align analytical initiatives with cross-functional goals, ensuring consistency and strategic value in tracking performance and supporting company objectives
- Serve as the primary representative for the Marketing organization within the broader data strategy team, collaborating closely with fellow business leads from departments such as IT, Finance, and Operations
- Champion the customer’s perspective while supporting the collective effort to develop and implement a unified data and business intelligence strategy across the company
Data Workflow Optimization
- Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance data organization and workflow management.
- Monitor and optimize analytical products and reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business objectives.
- Represent Marketing in cross-functional data strategy efforts, advocating for customer-centric insights.
- Serve as a key contact for operational reporting and analytics support.
- Present insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Thought Leadership and Team Development
- Scale analytics capabilities across the organization by identifying resource needs, recruiting and onboarding new talent, and integrating best-practice methodologies and tools into team processes.
- Act as a thought leader in business intelligence and customer analytics, providing insights and guidance to the business
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, manage team capacity effectively and establish constructive feedback and coaching opportunities to support their growth.
**What You Bring**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, customer analytics, or related experience
- Experience with AI tools and automation platforms
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, DataRobot) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience as a formal or informal leader and/or mentor
- Energy/utilities experience is an asset
