Music City Canada is currently looking to add a Sales & Rentals Customer Rep to our team. You will need to share our vision of creating phenomenal customer service a competitive advantage for our business. As a team we are focused on being the best customer service provider possible every day in what we do---and then constantly improving the experience to be even more amazing for our customers. The Customer Experience Rep will be responsible for working closely with our specialty sales reps and other departments, in many different customer service scenarios.

This is a part-time and/or full-time position that will require you to work on-site and from home depending on the shift. On-site is at our headquarters in London, ON. Therefore all applicants need to live in or near London, ON and have the ability to commute in. Or be willing to re-locate here.

**Responsibilities**:

- Listen, document, and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to questions and concerns
- Login to online Portals & Contact Supplier Reps & Order Desks for Product Order ETA’s
- Answering question and giving advice on musical instruments and pro AV, lighting & recording gear
- Educating customers on a wide variety of topics relating to the instruments & equipment for their needs and wants
- When working in-store, greet and work with customers in-store with finding what is right for their needs
- Ring through customers at checkout and see the experience with them through in a positive way until they are on their way
- Work with internal staff and departments to help in-store customers with various needs including but not limited to Service Repair, Accounting, Order Pickup, etc

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Must be fluent in English (French or other language speaking is a bonus)
- Smart & empathetic with strong people skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A strong knowledge, and passion for musical instruments & the gear we sell
- Play a musical instrument or be into music production
- 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced retailer, where you have experience managing difficult and in some cases intense customer service issues
- You must have a warm and empathetic demeanor when dealing with customers
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work successfully and efficiently amidst interruptions or distractions, thriving in a fast paced, rapid growth environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of the business including evening and weekend availability
- Maintain professionalism/confidentiality in escalated situations with customers
- A hands-on self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be comfortible with moving boxes & rental items and loading into client vehicles up to 50lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
