**Job Description**:
Under supervision of an Endo Registered Nurse, helping to position patients, assists with room preparation for patients in the Endoscopy Suite, participates in setting up and tearing down of Endoscopes and equipment between patients, and performs other duties as assigned. The Endo/Resp assistant is familiar with preference cards and works closely with the endoscopy staff to assist with department patient flow and efficiency.

**Education**:

- Grade 12 education essential
- Knowledge of medical terminology essential
- CSAO certification or equivalent an asset
- Operating room attendant course or equivalent an asset.

**Experience**:

- Experience with aseptic technique and cleaning of sterile areas
- Ability and experience demonstrated through positive attendance, performance appraisals and work history
