**Job Description**:
The Analyst should have strong financial, project management, technology, communication and organizational skills. This position requires experience in Financial and Business Information Systems and Data Analytics. He or she will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in data and financial reporting to support contract management, project management, engineering, production and logistics.

Duties of the Analyst:
Finance & Business Analytics
- Develop business requirements for the company's departments
- Evaluate existing business processes to formulate new business programs and initiatives
- Lead process reviews and improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with other team members in AVL to create or improve workflows
- Educate other department on new processes, sharing ideas, and taking feedback
- Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support
- Organize data into accessible reports and platform various types of analysis using key metrics
- Oversee financial functions, such as assessing, planning, budgeting, cost and project control
- Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate with members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
- Budget vs Actual reports for various departments on an as-required basis (weekly/daily)
- Develop Dashboards customized for cost and budget analysis
- Assist Controller with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Examine and analyze financial records and systems ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with and prepare reports for Controller, Contract Manager, Project Manager, and executive leadership team.

Info Systems & Data
- Work closely with CFO to create data strategies that support data modeling
- Analyze, design, program, test and implement business reports using ERP system tools, Gupta Report Builder, MS Excel, Visual Basic, SQL queries and SQL Server database
- Manipulate and extract data from various data sources, programing ( SQL, Excel VBA) and reporting in a timely manner
- Analyze Visual Manufacturing System and current business processes to make recommendation on best practice
- Maintain weekly visual production and engineering reports
- Build and maintain Visual product structure
- Develop training material and provide training to all staff of Visual Manufacturing ERP system and other software used by the business e.g., MS Office, CAD
- Coordinate all new software implementation
- Preform Administrator task on existing software, e.g., ERP costing utilities, indexing, clean data, and User Maintenance and Security
- Analyze and report cost variances working closely with the Project Management team
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information from VISUAL Manufacturing ERP to staff in a timely manner

- Create and train end-users on new reports and dashboards

Pre-Requisites
- Degree or equivalent in Business, Financial or Management
- Minimum 3- year degree or diploma as a Programmer / System Analyst
- Minimum of 5-years of experience as Business Systems Developer / Analyst preferably in a manufacturing environment
- SQL experience is a must, as well as a solid understanding of accounting and finance concepts
- Working knowledge of VISUAL Manufacturing ERP will be an asset

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
