Dog Groomer

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, brushing, and nail trimming for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and provide recommendations for care.
- Handle pets safely during the grooming process, including those that may be anxious or difficult to manage.
- Lift and carry pets as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years grooming experience (or grooming school graduate) (Portfolio upon request.)
- Someone who is capable of booking their own clients in and discussing client bookings (run down of booking system will be given)
- Can complete full grooms from start to finish at a reasonable time
- Friendly, clean, and great with both dogs _and_ people
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
