The Valence Water Technician will work closely with field operations and be responsible for supporting customers with upfront testing, demonstrations, commissioning, support and training, and ongoing technical support to ensure solid performance of Valence Water electrochemical treatment systems.
- Operate Valence in-house lab testing equipment to evaluate performance for treating customer wastewater types and determine process parameters to support sales and project development.
- Provide on-site testing at customer facilities using Valence mobile test platforms.
- Operate Valence’s commercial scale pilot/demonstration plant to support sales efforts.
- Work with customers through commissioning, training and ongoing technical support.
- Support continuous development of Valence systems and processes.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Competencies**:

- Independent and self-sufficient, while also able to work well in teams.
- Excellent people skills and can represent Valence in front of customers, at conferences and trade shows.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working on or around water and/or wastewater treatment equipment and systems
- Valid BC Driver’s License

**Education**:

- Minimum Grade 12 Education
- Level 1 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification not required but would be an asset

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience working on or around water and/or wastewater treatment equipment and systems.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

- Victoria, BC V8W 1G9 (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Victoria, BC V8W 1G9
