**Role: IT Service Transformation Consultant**

**Location: Hybrid -Edmonton, AB (3 days office from the day 1)**

**Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)**

**Description**:
The Service Transformation Consultant will play a key role in supporting strategic planning, operational efficiency, and financial stewardship across IT and business functions. This role will bring technical expertise to a multi-disciplinary group and will require a strong analytical mindset and a focus on optimizing both technical services and financial resources. Responsibilities span technology evaluation, contract review, and support of grants and budget analysis.

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure, AWS Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Professional, PMP, ITIL) are highly desirable.
- 5+ years’ experience in IT roles supporting enterprise-level finance, budgeting, or contract management environments, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior technical role.
- Deep understanding of business intelligence/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data warehousing, data modeling, and experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, ETL tools).
- Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, and system interoperability standards (JSON, XML, REST/SOAP, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing system integrations across finance, procurement, and analytics platforms—ideally in support of Zero-Based Budgeting initiatives.
- Direct experience leading technical delivery or digital transformation projects within a finance or procurement context.
- Expert-level skills in architecture, configuration, and optimization of financial planning and contract management systems.
- Experience with process automation, workflow management, and supporting digital adoption initiatives organization wide.
- Ability to lead complex technical projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, system integration, user acceptance testing, and change management.
- Experience mentoring, training, and supporting IT and business teams in the adoption of new digital tools and best practices.
- Other responsibilities as required or requested.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
