**The Role**: Financial Services Coordinator

As a Financial Service Coordinators you will you will demonstrate excellence in customer service through solid communication and interpersonal skills, often times over the phone, to build rapports with members and provide appropriate solutions. Planning and organization skills will be critical to ensure your own work assignments are completed in a timely manner. Knowledge of the local community in addition to relevant policies and procedures is an asset.

**A typical day would involve**:

- Acknowledge members and identify service needs to create an exceptional member experience.
- Manage and coordinate overall schedules and traffic flow.
- Connect members to the appropriate Account Manager and/or specialist roles so that members needs are met.
- Keep branch marketing materials and ATM lobby current and aligned with branch standards.

**You Have**:

- Advanced - Communication and interpersonal skills to greet visitors, answer calls, provide initial response to issues or redirect to others; and also to discuss department administration with director and management team.
- Advanced - Planning and coordination skills to organize own work assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Basic - Knowledge of the concepts, practices and techniques of the related field.
- Solid - Knowledge of relevant Vancity products, policies, procedures, systems, tools, products and services.
- Solid - Knowledge of the local community.

**Bonus Points**:
The competencies for this position would typically be acquired through High School plus some post-secondary coursework.

The Financial Service Coordinator reports directly into the Assistant Branch Manager.
