Bilingual (Fr/eng) - HR Coordinator, People &

Our People & Culture team is growing. In the Coordinator role, you will support the People & Culture (HR) team in a bilingual capacity across our corporate and clinical operations.
Headquarted in Central Ottawa, our organization supports Dental Practices across Ontario and Quebec. This is a hybrid role and travel may be required in Ontario and Quebec, on occasion.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and distribute documentation for hiring, regulatory, onboarding, and policy. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure/registration, and certifications.
- Assist the HR team with sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding
- Assist with routine Human Resources responsibilities such as: compensation, benefits, leave of absence; employee relations; performance management; employee recognition; occupational health and safety and training and development
- Handle employment-related inquiries and referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate internal teams
- Attend and participate in various meetings across the organization
- Update HRIS with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Federal, Provincial (ON/QC) employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Travel may be required from time to time (Quebec and Ontario - 5 to 10%)
**Required Skills/Abilities**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (**Must be fluenty bilingual in French/English - written and spoken)
- Self-driven and comfortable working independantly
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Flexible to pivot between multiple priorities day to day
- Stong analytical sense and an ability to problem solve while respecting the escalation process, when appropriate
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, HRIS Systems, various databases
**Education/Experience**:
- Program of post-secondary study in Human Resources, or relevant experience working in the field of Human Resources
- Asset: Dental Field Experience or Knowledge
