**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Assist with minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Operate forklifts and heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is desirable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.

Pay: $21.62-$30.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
