The Maintenance Worker takes ownership and is responsible for the consistent upkeep of the property, they provide a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff.
If this is you we would would love to have you join our team
As a part of the maintenance team you would report to the General Manager
A few of the basic duties would be:
Daily inspection of the building and parking lot
Maintain all equipment, building and grounds
Complete all work orders assigned in a timely fashion
Write accurate description of work orders in progress or completed
Duties assigned by Manager
Assist with minor plumbing, carpentry, dry walling and furniture repair.
Ensure filters are inspected regularly and changed as necessary
When on call inform desk of where you can be reached and if called, respond promptly
Strong Painting Skills
Maintenance of heating and cooling systems
Shampooing rugs
Pest Control
Cleaning, vacuuming and upkeep of hallways, lounge, beer store and all other areas of the hotel
Yard maintenance
Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- Proficient in English with strong mechanical/construction knowledge
- Experience in facilities maintenance
- Customer service skills and leadership experience are a plus
- Dependable
**Job Type**: Temporary
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
**Benefits**:
