pH7 is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper Receiver to join our team. As a Shipper Receiver, you will play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our logistics and warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the efficient handling, shipping, receiving, and storage of goods, ensuring timely and accurate movement of products.

**Responsibilities**:
Shipping and Receiving Operations:
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect them, and verify quantities against purchase orders or packing lists.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are properly labeled and documented for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory using computerized systems or manual logs. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and communicate inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Safely and securely package goods for shipping,
- Collaborate with freight carriers and courier services to schedule pickups and deliveries. Ensure proper documentation, such as bills of lading and shipping manifests, is prepared for each shipment.
- Always maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, optimizing storage space and accessibility for efficient operations. Implement proper storage techniques to safeguard inventory and promote workplace safety.
- Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Adhere to all shipping, receiving, and safety regulations and guidelines. Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
- Identify and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies or issues promptly, collaborating with relevant departments to find effective solutions.
- Work closely with the logistics team, warehouse staff, and other departments to coordinate the flow of goods, support inventory management, and streamline overall operations.
- Chemical Handling: Safely handle and use chemicals as required in the receiving put away deliver to production process to prevent accidents and maintain a hazard-free workplace.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or training in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or related fields are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Shipper Receiver or in a similar logistics role.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and inventory management.
- Ability to use warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks with a valid certification can be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a time sensitive environment, handling multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety regulation handling and storing chemicals an asset
- WHMIS and Transportation of dangerous goods certification an asset
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices within a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Background check will be required.
