Distribution Centre Manager

Premium Brands owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and in Arizona, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, Ohio, and Washington. **OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE**:
The Warehouse Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our warehouse facility. This position is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for efficient operations.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of the warehouse: This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, cleaning lunchrooms, offices and washrooms as well as dusting and wiping down surfaces to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Waste management: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas, following proper waste management protocols.

Inventory management: May assist in keeping track of inventory levels, organizing stock, and ensuring items are stored in their designated locations.

Equipment maintenance: Responsible for inspecting and maintaining warehouse equipment, such as, pallet jacks, and cleaning machines, to ensure they are in good working condition.

Safety compliance: Play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards by identifying and reporting any potential hazards or safety concerns within the warehouse.

Light to general maintenance: Will be required to perform minor repairs or maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Comfortable operating at various heights within the warehouse
- Operate scissor lift (training will available)
- WHMIS trained
- Able to work in cold environment most of the time
- Comfortable with daily paperwork

**Full benefit package after 3 months.**

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
