Inventory Performance Analyst

Overview:
Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Canada. The Inventory Performance Analyst needs to be an analytically skilled individual with strong attention to detail. The positions main responsibilities is in inventory analysis which includes managing inventory items, monitoring day-to-day inventory operations, and implementing inventory control protocols. Inventory analyst should be an individual who possess deep commercial awareness and should be able to interpret and implement data on consumer trends.

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not
- Recommend forecast and allocate inventory to the correct accounts
- Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to national purchasing trends
- Directing buyers on demand trend in support of Program Management Team
- Liaise with the warehouse to perform regular inventory counts.
- Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data
- Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control
- Coordinating with key stakeholders to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue
- Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory
- Engage with Inventory Management to minimize excess inventory and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Communicates effectively with both key internal and external stakeholders
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Qualifications:
- 5 years of supply chain, inventory management or operations experience with a focus on improving processes and reducing working capital
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be flexible and deadline driven
- Team player who will work effectively at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
- Strong analysis and decision making abilities
- A broad enterprise-view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance
- Experienced in MS Office Suite, Excel, Microsoft Access
