**Role**:

- Source carriers to match available loads in a fast-paced setting
- Manage multiple deliveries, process spot requests, and develop new sales strategies to improve business
- Negotiate contract and pricing agreements with carriers
- Build rapport and develop relationships with carrier and integrate them into the RET system
- Inform freight services according to company and government regulations
- Plan and coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules
- Ensure that freight paperwork is completed and approved before transportation
- Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manager schedules
- Track and repost shipment status to customers
- Maintain freight files and customer receipts for reference purposes
- Resolve freight discrepancies in a timely manner
- Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally
- Provide consistent, professional information through exceptional customer service
- Ensure all external relationships are consistent with the goals, philosophy, and desired image of the company
- Maintain current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Demonstrate ability to manage key external and internal relationships
- Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles
- A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong organization skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people skills
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- In-person office environment
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

**Compensation**
- Base salary plus commission
